**About The Role**

3 north is a busy cardiothoracic and cardiology ward that requires the services of a ward clerk for its day to day running.

The role encompasses;
- Admitting of patients on to MediTech, collection and collation of data for the cardiothoracic service and the organizing of patient files.
- Admission and discharge processes to ensure appropriate bed management and utilisation
- Managing incoming and outgoing calls to the ward
- Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments
- Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients
- Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes

**Remunerations**

***On offer is a base hourly rate of $28.90 plus superannuation based on experience level and qualifications

The role consists of admitting and discharging patients through our systems, organizing patient files, the collection of cardiothoracic data for the national data base working and working closely with all members of the medical and nursing team.

**Requirements**:
