**About the role**

As the Procurement Administrator, you are responsible for providing support to the Procurement team, which will include supplier engagement, ongoing supplier management, vendor compliance, subcontract management and management of various Non-Disclosure Agreements.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Engage collaboratively with suppliers and stakeholders that are members of the NSM supply chain to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding and procurement process and always providing clear and accurate communication;
- Process quick reports as they are submitted and liaise with Procurement Managers as required;
- Process and co-ordinate New Supplier Requests and onboarding through to approval in NSM's ERP System including the filing and storage of onboarding documentation;
- Create New Suppliers in NSM's Vendor Management system and upload and file relevant compliance documentation; and
- Monitor and manage Vendor Management compliance and liaise and co-ordinate with suppliers and the Strategic Procurement team and stakeholders.

**About you**

**Essential**:

- Demonstrated experience in a Procurement environment, and/or Contract Administration roles;
- Proven experience providing administrative and business support;
- A proactive and flexible approach to work;
- Excellent organisational skills; and
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of computer software packages, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Visio; and
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands and handle multiple tasks.

**Desirable**:

- Cert III Office Administration / Business or equivalent experience preferred; and
- Prior experience in the Defence sector.

**Essential Compliance Requirements**:

- Must either hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
