The normal days are: 1-2 days per week (Mon or Tues, or both) from 07:30 am – 3:00 pm.An ideal nanny will have at least 3 years of experience, a driver's license, be patient, genuine, and possess exceptional communication skills.A typical day or week for the nanny would include assisting with morning routines, supporting free play, preparing morning tea, and heading out for exercise or a community outing such as a trip to the library.
After returning home for lunch, there would be a rest or nap time.
The afternoons are usually relaxed, with activities like light meal preparation and engaging the toddler in simple chores when possible.The family has 3 friendly dogs, who do not need any care.
With no local support network, you will play a vital role as an integral part of their family.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:To care for both children throughout the dayFollow the children's routinePlay and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist in the children's developmentGeneral tidying up after the children and light household choresPrepare and cook healthy meals and snacksThe family's expectations from their nanny are:3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in childcareChildcare qualifications preferredExperience with young babies and toddlersFull driver's licenseHave a current first aid certificate (or be happy to obtain one)Have a current Working With Children's CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speak great EnglishNon-smoking
