We are seeking a nurturing and engaging nanny to assist a professional family in Buderim, Sunshine Coast.
The family has two girls, though the care is mostly for the youngest child (ages 1 and 4 years).
An ideal nanny will be warm, caring, and nurturing.
A nanny that is bubbly, energetic, active, and confident is happy to engage, play, and have fun.The nanny will be a gentle and responsive carer and is comfortable with following the children's routines, needs, and interests.
A nanny with a genuine love of children who can dedicate their time to them both and enhance their learning and development on a daily basis is preferred.The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is responsible, patient, safe, reliable, and able to commit to the role on a long-term basis while being highly invested in building a lovely relationship with the whole family.The eldest child attends preschool but will be home during school holidays.
Responsibilities: Care for the childrenProvide age-appropriate activities (plan, engage, play)Cook/prep meals and snacks for the children and evening family meal prep/cooking occasionallyAssist with light household duties - Keeping the main areas of the house tidy, kitchen tidy, dishwasher packed/unpacked, tidying of toys at the end of the dayContract: Long Term / Permanent RoleDays and Hours: 1 day - 9 hours per week (Friday 7.30/8am - 4.30pm) Expectations: 3+ years experience as a nanny or in childcareCurrent first aid certificateCurrent Blue CardStrong communication skills and fluency in EnglishFit, healthy, and activeUp to date with all vaccinationsFull driver's license and clean driving record Job Reference: LLB184 Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
