Payments and Data Economy (P&DE) team is accountable for the day to day management of the Bank's portfolio of domestic and international payments products, leading the development and delivery of payments innovation across retail and business payments, and the design and execution of the payments and open data (including open banking and digital identity) strategies.

Payments, as part of the P&DE team, is responsible for managing and enhancing the domestic and international payments solutions to customers across all segments within CBA, as well as managing the international correspondent banking network for the Group.

Do Work That Matters

Your role as Product Manager - International Payments will involve managing the Outward International Payments portfolio, which includes Outward International Money Transfers and Global Cash Manager.

Your impact of your contribution should result in but is not limited to:

- The day-to-day management of our product portfolio (BAU)
- The development of innovative product features (e.g. FX Pricing strategy, ACCC requirements, digital enhancements, global payment innovation, ISO20022)
- The positioning of our products for our clients
- Product Design and Distribution Obligations (PDDO) activities
- The end to end review of the product value chain
- More specifically you will be responsible for;_

Product Development:

- Work on strategic & product development initiatives
- Assist the Senior Product Manager to monitor the marketplace, while paying particular attention to direct competitors, to assess product trends and results in order to recommend new products or features for the organisation
- Sound understanding of external future product developments roadmaps
- Adhere to Product Development & Distribution framework in terms of strong governance/disciplined approach. This includes ongoing agreement and implementation of a product roadmap within your portfolio
- Detailed analysis of business requirements and customer requirements
- Manage all aspects of in scope product developments in line with Senior manager's objectives
- Achieve close and productive collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders and suppliers - including relevant projects / programs - across the value chain
- Manage change to continuously improve the product offering and processes to facilitate the overall customer experience

Risk & Compliance:

- Liaise direct with FCC, Operational risk & compliance in terms of ongoing management of our products

Process Excellence:

- Identify product and process improvement ideas that arise in the product development lifecycle in addition to listening directly to the "voice of the customer"

Market Intelligence & Data Analysis:

- Gather and present international market intelligence that relate to changes in competitor offerings (Banks & MSBs) including disruptive technology platforms and emerging technologies for Management to review and action
- Work closely with the Analytics, Data and Decision Science team to analyse, segment and develop key business insights which can be presented in a meaningful way to the Bank's stakeholders
- Understand MIS and reporting requirements
- P&L management that includes product profitability
- Liaise directly with the Processing Services and ES teams to ensure high quality customer service is provided.

Your qualifications & experience
- Sound knowledge of the Financial Services industry, with an understanding of the FI market
- Excellent internal and external communication skills both oral and written
- Experience from working in the International Payments business, understanding Wholesale, Commercial and Foreign Currency product offerings is preferred
- A demonstrated client service focus
- The ability to handle and prioritise multiple issues at the same time
- Ability to collaborate with and influence internal stakeholders
- Sound planning and time management skills
- Risk Mindset -All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in banking or related financial services
- Relevant experience in Product Management, Financial Institutions business or Global Markets is a plus
- Professional experience in an international environment is a plus-Sidekick
