Overview
Roundtree Search are working with a leading Australian Private Credit firm, entrenched in the world of Commercial Real Estate.
The firm is well capitalised with the support of institutional investors and as a consequence, they are now one of Australia's leading private credit firms within commercial real estate.
We require an Analyst / Senior Analyst capable of supporting the Origination Directors to provide funding solutions for a range of Property Developers and Commercial Real Estate Fund Managers.
The role will be based in Brisbane but form part of the national team.
As an Analyst growing within this industry, enjoying lots of successful dealflow is key.
This role will provide a consistent and interesting pipeline to ensure you develop your career at a fast pace.
The group is well known for consistently promoting from within, across Origination, Transaction management, Execution, Credit, Risk and Asset/Portfolio Management.
This role will give the successful candidate exposure to all of this.
Responsibilities
Conducting financial and credit analysis for real estate-backed loan applications
Assessing complex transactions, property valuations and ongoing market conditions
Structure loan proposals and present credit recommendations to senior management and IC
Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential credit risks
Work closely with brokers, developers, banks and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth deal execution
The Successful Candidate
2 years or less of experience, ideally within credit analysis, real estate financial analysis, real estate law, commercial lending or consulting
A good understanding or enthusiasm for credit risk and property fundamentals
An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
