- About the RoleWe are seeking a Superintendent Governance and Assurance who will report to the Manager of Business Systems and Controls in the Operations Services (OS) team.- Your key deliverables include:

- Applies an understanding of specific Risk and HSE systems, management, activities, risks, key processes, terminology, and workflow in support of OS compliance with key internal and external requirements
- Designs and implements governance/assurance practices and Management of Change procedures to control value outcomes across BHP
- Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses BHP's risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
- Collaborating with senior leaders to implement routines and changes that will drive effective management of risks across all facets of Operations Services
- Utilising a range of tools and to provide meaningful insights into performance against requirements and opportunities for improvement
- Developing practical plans, aligned to OS strategic objectives that align and stretch the team to achieve high performance.

- Communicate effectively, demonstrating an understanding of differing views and adapting language and approach for the target audience.
