You will be working for a dynamic FinTech that offers a broad range of end-to-end financial services to the non-bank market and work with a variety of Australian businesses in different industries.

As a Commercial Collections Officer, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day delinquent client accounts in line with corporate collections strategies. You may also be required to instruct external stakeholders.

**The role**:

- Regular review of the delinquent portfolio to ensure workflow is effectively managed and collections processes are being adhered to in a timely manner
- Negotiate suitable payment plans and settlements
- Resolve external and internal client queries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain client files to ensure reporting accuracy across the portfolio
- Refer matters for enforcement in line with collections processes
- Minimise losses by urgent reaction times and adherence to corporate collections strategies

**To be successful in this role, you must have the following essential criteria**:

- 1+ years' experience in a Commercial Collections environment within financial services, ideally gained in a non-bank environment
- First-class communication skills both written and verbal
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
- The ability to work effectively and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation such as AML/KYC and the Privacy Act
- Proven relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders and strong customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Task oriented with excellent time management
- A team player with the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise tasks to manage workflow
