Overview
SUMMARY: Responsible for identifying and maintaining high impact players.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
(Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)
Accommodates high-end Players (VIPs).
Conducts acquisition and maintenance of all VIP players.
Coordinates all VIP reservations and arrivals with The Hotel at Black Oak Casino Resort.
Prepares, coordinates, hosts and administers all complimentary and Guest events.
Maintains a working knowledge of the property, as well as current and upcoming special events, in order to advise Guests and fellow Team Members of same.
Helps facilitate with special events, slot promotions and tournaments.
Communicates with VIP's on a regular basis to maximize player loyalty.
Conducts daily reporting of Host's duties to Player Development Director and Executive Director of Marketing.
Conducts maintenance of all Diamond level tier players.
Informs department Supervisors of Guests needs, which may require special accommodations.
Assists with greeting and dispatching tour buses.
Builds customer database and player loyalty through recruitment and retention techniques.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements
Must be 21 years old.
Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
Prior supervisory experience and/or college degree preferred.
Must complete and maintain Title 31 training.
Must possess and maintain a valid California driver license and a Black Oak Casino Resort driver's permit.
Must be able to travel with overnight stays required.
Must be familiar with computer-based applications including Microsoft Office software.
Must possess excellent oral communications skills and Guest service abilities.
Must be able to start projects and follow through unsupervised.
Must have extensive Guest relations skills; including interfacing with Guests consistently on the highest level.
Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced, 24 hour atmosphere and work under pressure.
Must be proficient using a computer keyboard.
Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.
Physical Demands
Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
Work Environment
Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
