Job Overview
A seasoned professional is sought after to fill the role of Technical Director in a Restructuring & Turnaround business. This part-time position (three days per week) entails ensuring compliance tools, policies and procedures remain current with Australia's insolvency laws and practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversight and facilitation of staff training to ensure continuous professional development of the R&T team of insolvency practitioners.
Management of the treasury personnel who support the R&T accounting compliance function.
Requirements:
Professionally qualified accountant (CA or CPA) with over ten years' experience in restructuring, having a strong focus on formal insolvent administrations.
Professional membership of ARITA (Australian Restructuring, Insolvency & Turnaround Association).
Strong understanding of Australia's insolvency laws (legislation and case law), applicable professional standards (APES) and ARITA's COPP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal staff training and professional development resources.
