Job Title: Technical Systems Director

As a key member of our organization's leadership team, the Technical Systems Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence.

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and develop a technical team that serves as a liaison between Support and Development organizations.
  • Collaborative Relationships: Foster strong relationships across departments to ensure seamless issue resolution and knowledge transfer.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Software, Mechatronics, or equivalent, with 5+ years' experience working on complex systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a high-performing team capable of handling complex technical challenges.
  • Developing comprehensive best practices for incident management.
  • Overseeing 24/7 technical support operations.
  • Establishing robust root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Designing and implementing comprehensive monitoring systems.

The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a strong software development background, preferably in Python and C++, and proven experience with high-availability systems and autonomous platforms.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Must Have:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Software, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
    • 5+ years' experience working on complex systems.
    • 2+ years of people management experience in a technical environment.
  • Nice To Have:
    • Prior experience in the field.
    • Experience working with cloud environments.
    • Knowledge of system frameworks and automation.
