The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide sound commercial support to the Healthcare sector, including mobilisation of new Footscray Hospital and Frankston hospitals. Key responsibilities include end-of-month and management reporting, contractual compliance & reviews, and financial analysis of relevant portfolio. Promotion and support of Our Safety Culture framework are expected.
Main responsibilities:
Accurate & timely month-end closing processes
Contract compliance
Assisting internal & external stakeholders
Budgeting and forecasting
Vic hospital PPP contract management
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and streamlining of existing processes
Assist with retention, bid modelling & supporting growth
Follow Compass health, safety, and security procedures
The Person
Degree qualified and CA/CPA
Minimum 5-7 years of previous experience within a commercial accounting environment
Sound technical and analytical skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Proven ability in providing senior operations leadership with advanced finance support and influencing outcomes based on well-presented analytics
Understanding of, and ability to manage in, a PPP environment
Previous management experience within a hospital environment
Experience in ORACLE/ QFM systems
Experience in financial modelling and commercial review
