Western Diagnostic Pathology is part of Healius' Pathology division, one of Australia's leading providers of private medical laboratory and pathology services. We operate about 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. Each year, we provide one in every three pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia's largest and most complex private and public hospitals to small and remote Australian Aboriginal communities.

**About the role**:
**To be successful in this role your background will demonstrate**:

- Diploma or Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Safely performing routine and technical tasks using manual and automated equipment
- Accurately analysing results together with internal and external quality performance
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Liaising with Pathologists and Senior staff
- Communicating with health professionals

**It will be considered highly advantageous for applicants to hold the following qualifications or skills**:

- Bachelor of Medical Science or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and skills within a Biochemistry discipline
- Perform duties with a high degree of independence and with infrequent supervision
- Experience in a Pathology Laboratory environment
