We're on the lookout for laboratory technicians that are capable, competent and compatible to join the team and progress their career. Western Geotechnical & Laboratory Services and Pilbara Geotechnical Laboratory Services, have a range of exciting opportunities currently available across various locations.
As our rapid growth continues with a strong pipeline of projects requiring our expertise commencing shortly, we are looking to bolster the team at our remote laboratory projects in the Pilbara region and greater WA.
Roster opportunities include 2/1, 2/2 and 3/3. Interstate applicants are encouraged to apply for longer rosters.
Local opportunities and relocation packages now available for Karratha, Paraburdoo and Newman.
For those looking to build a long-term career in the Pilbara, we offer local and relocation packages and the opportunity to be based locally in Karratha, Paraburdoo or Newman.

Western Geotechnical & Laboratory Services and Pilbara Geotechnical Laboratory Services are locally owned and operated laboratories in Western Australia. We provide efficient, accurate, and professional laboratory reports to industry professionals who value excellence in their field. We offer a wide range of testing services for various projects, including soil testing, concrete testing, aggregate testing, geological testing and assessment, and much more
About You
- NATA Level 2 (preferred for some positions / locations)
- Signatory status (preferred for some positions / locations)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Team player - fit and play your role
- 'Half-glass full' mindset
- 3-5 years of experience in materials testing laboratories is required
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
- Certificate III/IV qualification required
