**Your new role**

Working as a system engineering manager, you will be working on communications, designs which integrate and supports C4ISR systems, including mission systems, support systems, systems of systems integration and C4ISR products. This is a new position in a growing team with the opportunity to continue to grow the team and your position within the company as the project continues.

**The key areas of responsibility for the Systems Engineering manager are**:

- Lead the engineering team in the conduct of assigned tasks in projects, bids and R&D
- The conduct of requirements analysis is based upon the user/customer requirements and capabilities of the core technology components.
- The analysis of alternatives and development of functional and physical solutions, including test or demonstration cases.
- The decomposition of selected architecture into sub-systems and/or elements.
- The implementation and verification of solutions.
- The production of engineering reports, specifications and design documents.
- Co-ordinate work performed by integrated product teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of related engineering programs
- Provide engineering leadership to engineering and technician teams.
- Prepare for, direct, and participate in, key engineering reviews. For example: System Requirements Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews and Configuration Control Boards.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Engineering Degree in relevant
- Engineering experience in the design and implementation of Defence and / or Commercial communication networks or similar complex electronic systems.
- Experience working within a Systems Engineering lifecycle.
- Experience with authoring/reviewing technical documentation.
- Hold, or be eligible for, CPEng status as a member of Engineers Australia.
- Use of requirements management tools such as DOORS. - Desirable
- Ability to hold or hold NV1 clearance.
