We are currently seeking a maintenance assistant for repairs, servicing and general upkeep of a cold storage warehouse. We are in need of someone who is mechanically minded.

Position start times will be between 3am and 6am.

Work will be Monday to Friday plus a weekend shifts where required, which will

weekend shift will be for 4-6 hours.

**Pay rate will be between $37.50 per hour + Allowances**

Our client is a well-known 3PL who services major supermarkets at their large sized cold storage distribution center.

**Role Requirements**

As a pivotal part of the maintenance team, you will be required, but no limited to the following duties:

- De-icing of a cold storage warehouse, where temperatures are below 0 degrees
- Use of an EWP to complete tasks at height
- Assisting with facility maintenance (outside and inside the warehouse)
- Assist with repairs of all mobile and stationary plant on site
- Work in accordance of proper WHS standards

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following:

- EWP license A MUST
- Current Forklift licence Highly desirable
- Past experience within this or a similar role
- hand and power tool experience required
- honest and reliable
- ability to work within a team or work independently
- own reliable transport
- Good communication
