**About the Role**
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our Laverton Glass Recycling Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating Afternoon / Night roster:

- 2 weeks Afternoon Shift: Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm
- 2 weeks Night Shift: Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am
- Daily overtime applies after first 8 hours, Weekday and Saturday overtime available at penalty rates

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed and mobile machinery.
- Working with the production team to resolve issues with mínimal downtime.
- Work with hydraulic systems, motor controls, fixed plant and mobile machinery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
- Record maintenance tasks in asset management system (IFS).

- Strong experience in similar heavy industry or recycling, with preventative and breakdown maintenance knowledge
- Skills in hydraulics, motor controls and fault finding
