**BRIEF**

We are looking for a Financial Operations Assistant to join our Finance team in either our Melbourne or Sydney office. Working closely with the Finance Operations Manager in Australia, the key elements of the role include control of the purchase ledger, cashiering and compliance, billing and credit control.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for tasks such as processing receipts and payments, disbursement payments, Chrome River approvals, setting up new vendors, and billing. You will also be responsible for dealing with partner, lawyer and client queries.

You will be an important contributor to the success of the Finance team.

**CANDIDATE SUMMARY**

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, along with the following skills and attributes:

- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Knowledge of Trust accounting
- Experience dealing with volumes of transaction processing
- Thorough approach to complying with processes and authorisations
- Proven ability to work within a busy environment and meet frequent deadlines
- Excellent team player, and an organised and methodical approach to your work
- Good communication skills, and
- Bring energy and passion to the role
