As Technical Team Leader, you'll coordinate and lead the in-house and third party technical crew.

Who are we?

We are a rowdy & spirited bunch determined to challenge the status quo and deliver painstakingly well-made coffee for cafes and coffee lovers.

What do we want?

We are looking for a Technical Team Leader with patience, passion & personality to join our Operations and Supply Chain team. Let's be clear from the get go... this role is all about coffee machinery, troubleshooting, process management and managing a team schedule. Every day will be about providing bang-on customer service and talking coffee, machinery & solutions with our customers and Coffee Technicians.

What's involved:

- Talking to customers (yep, you gotta love this)
- Managing our team of in-house and third party Coffee Technicians
- Troubleshooting issues and solving problems to do with machinery, equipment and coffee
- Organising parts logistics
- Purchasing, including machine and grinder stock
- Entering sales and technical information into our system
- Taking orders & responding to queries
- Assisting with internal stocktake processes
- Assisting with events, projects and technical team issues

What you will bring to the role:

- Barista skills (you know how to make a delicious coffee and may have been a Head Barista or technically minded Cafe Manager in a past life)
- 2+ years customer service and/or logistics/coordinating experience
- Team Lead experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of a coffee machine & basic maintenance
- Strong planning & scheduling capability
- Solid computer & data entry skills
- Super strong communication (written & verbal)
- Passion for outstanding customer service and a tireless 'can do' attitude
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously

You must be whizz at managing relationships and multi tasking, and be totally motivated by coordinating information and people. You have a genuine interest in all things coffee, including machines and equipment, and have a methodical & systematic mind And did we mention a good dose of up-beat personality?

This role is full time and is based in Botany with rotating on call shifts.
