Job Description:
As a senior mechanical engineer specializing in dams, you will be responsible for contributing to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management nationwide.
You will work with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.
Key responsibilities include:
Mechanical engineering design for dam operations and equipment integration
Inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams
Construction support services, including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data, and construction reporting
Preparation of tenders and proposals and providing mentoring
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications, ideally within the dam industry
Positive attitude, seeing challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and grow
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
