We are seeking a highly skilled
Data Platform Engineer
to drive the delivery of critical platform capabilities using AWS and Kubernetes.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and Big Data processing technologies such as Hive, Spark, and Starburst Presto. Strong scripting skills, particularly with Python and Bash, are also essential.
A proactive approach to production stability, cost management, and platform improvements is required. Additionally, the ability to build consensus and drive technical decisions will be key to success in this role.
This long-term assignment is based in Sydney CBD and requires 6+ years of enterprise experience as a Cloud / DevOps / Data Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Drive the delivery of critical platform capabilities.
Define technical roadmaps and lead architectural design decisions.
Design, develop, and deploy new capabilities for the Corporate Data Hub Platform.
Enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring practices.
Champion security, compliance, and risk management across the platform.
