Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging role where you can utilize your technical expertise to drive innovation and growth? As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex software solutions that form the engineering platform to improve our engineers' capability of delivering our banking platform.

The Role

As a key member of our engineering team, you will work with teams across the company to integrate industry standards and best practices using CI/CD and SRE tooling to provide testability, reliability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with our platform team to improve processes and efficiencies, and define a well-lit path for development across the company. Additionally, you will educate and work with broader engineering teams to uplift productivity based on well-lit path.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve our capabilities in testing, CI/CD, infrastructure, resource management.
  • Improve our capabilities in observability through facilitating the improvement of our alerting, logging, and monitoring.
  • Facilitate the integration or rationalization of vendor services (external dev productivity tooling, third-party services etc).
  • Advocate for code quality and build on a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience with Platform engineering/DevOps best practices is essential. A strong technical background with experience enabling platform tooling is also required. Additionally, you should have strong teamwork skills that foster productive relationships, adding to the company culture. Writing clean, maintainable code and ensuring code reviews and best practices are followed are also must-haves. Demonstrated ability to mentor and educate engineers is also a plus. Experience in AWS and/or multi-tenant SaaS is preferred but not required.
