**The Role**

In your role as Evening Laboratory Operations Manager, you will be the key go to person for all staff across all departments, in a new clean organised laboratory. You will work closely with the Laboratory Manager and Head of Departments to provide operational leadership for all services across the multidisciplinary laboratory.
- Lead by example to create a patient focused, positive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Identify workflow improvements opportunities to Heads of Departments and Lab Managers
- Manage the team to success with a strong emphasis on positive attitude, positive communication, bonding and engagement
- Assist with rostering, staff management, equipment maintenance scheduling and staff training and regular constructive feedback.
- Change Management as required to keep up with emerging technologies relevant to chemistry and workflow

**About You**
- Tertiary Qualifications in Biochemistry or equivalent
- Post Grad study in a relevant field would be advantageous
- At least 5 years post graduate industry experience, with a strong bias towards process improvement
- Team management/leadership experience
- Project delivery and process improvement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
