We are a small private billing Medical Centre located in Ferntree Gully, and are looking for a Medical Receptionist for a maternity leave coverage position, to join our friendly team.

Joining our team of Doctors, Allied Health professionals, Practice Nurses and Administration staff, you will have great customer service skills, high attention to detail and a happy bubbly personality.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- answering incoming calls
- greeting patients
- booking appointments via phone and in person
- taking payments/processing Medicare claims
- scanning
- faxing
- managing referrals
- liaising with Doctors/Specialists
- cleaning & restocking offices
- general administration

Potential applicants should have the following:

- Previous Medical Reception experience
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with a high attention to detail
- High level of confidentiality
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- Microsoft office and administration skills
- Team player with a "can do" attitude
- Previous experience using a booking software program (eg: Medtech, Best Practice)

This role is a temporary position covering Maternity Leave for approximately 6-12 months.
You will work approximately 15-30 hours per week with varying shifts and some closing shifts included. Some coverage for other employees leave will be required.

**Salary**: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

- Ferntree Gully, VIC 3156: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
