Let's talk about this role

As a Product Designer within our Digital Platforms and Experience business unit, you will work within a multi-disciplined Agile product team to drive research, design, and optimisation for member-facing digital experiences including web, IOS, and Android.

Key responsibilities include:
- Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints- Design: Utilise human-centred design (HCD) methodologies and leverage our design system to create innovative, feasible, and desirable digital products- Collaboration: Work closely with members of your Agile product team and other stakeholders, including Business Analysts and Developers, to foster a collaborative environment- Value alignment: Design accessible solutions that align with our values and customer experience principles- Knowledge sharing: Pair with other product designers to ensure design principles and best practices are applied to all our digital products and customer experiences- Testing and reporting: Test, measure, optimise, and report on digital products. Gather valuable insights to help inform the future direction of our digital products

Let's talk about you

With previous experience in a similar role combined with the ability to empathise with user needs, other skills and experience that will help set you up for success include:
- Ability to utilise user testing, personas and mental models to better inform design process and decisions- Proficiency in user-centred design methodologies, with a solid grasp of UX and UI best practices.- Previous experience utilising appropriate research methodologies across the product lifecycle- Solid skills in interpreting requirements, data, and constraints to facilitate discussions that result in understanding the root problems- Great communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders e.g. Product Managers, Technical Product Analysts, and development teams- Previous experience working on large scale projects with the ability to synthesise large sets of data into actionable insights
