This description is focused on the payroll responsibilities within a property and real estate environment.
Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll processing for employees across corporate offices.
Maintain accurate employee records in SAP SuccessFactors, including onboarding, offboarding, and changes to employment conditions.
Ensure payroll compliance with Australian legislation, Modern Awards, and internal company policies.
Reconcile and submit statutory obligations including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, and STP.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Project Managers to ensure correct cost allocations and project-based reporting.
Support internal and external audits through accurate recordkeeping.
Mentor junior payroll staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Assist with SAP SuccessFactors upgrades, testing, and automation projects.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Payroll Officer.
Proficient in SAP SuccessFactors for payroll processing and reporting.
Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, ideally within the property or construction industries.
High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other payroll reporting tools.
