PRIMARY DETAIL

We are seeking an experienced Grants and Partnerships Advisor with demonstrated high level skills in project management and experience in the coordination of large complex collaborative projects, who has a genuine passion for educational equity to join our dynamic team.
- Salary Package: From $99,739 to $108,138 (HEW 7) p.a. plus 17% employer superannuation contributions and annual leave loading
- Role type Full Time, Fixed Term Contract until end of December 25
- Location: Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde

THE ROLE

The Grants and Partnerships Advisor will work within the Widening Participation Unit under direction from the Manager, Widening Participation, relevant Project Boards and Committees collaborating with University Faculties and other units to lead the delivery of internal and multi-institutional grants and research projects and manage the implementation of grant deliverables.

Reporting to the Manager, Widening Participation, you will:

- Manage, monitor and track the delivery of grant projects to ensure all key deliverables are met and reported upon as required.
- Produce consistent and up to date project documentation, including but not limited to project timelines and milestones, workflow processes, forms, templates, organisational charts, risk assessments, ethics documentation, progress reports, and ensure that documentation is communicated across project teams and external partners where relevant.
- Coordinate project meetings with relevant internal and external partners, including the over-arching meeting schedule, agenda, dissemination of minutes, and tracking of actions.
- Monitor grants and projects for legal, financial and program compliance including but not limited to ensuring grant requirements are met and all data is accurately documented.
- Identify any emerging risks to the project and implement strategies to mitigate these risks or escalate risks where appropriate.
- Ensure the alignment between project and research outcomes and program development and implementation communicating evaluation and research data to project partners.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external project partners.
- Coordinate grant and financial reporting to the Commonwealth Government and relevant internal and external Project Boards and Committees.
- Design, implement and coordinate Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) through all programs and activities in collaboration with Widening Participation Unit and key project partners, undertaking data analysis and monitoring and evaluation as required.
- Develop, implement, and review reporting frameworks, policies, and procedures for the project.
- Support project partners in the delivery of grant projects, including planning, coordination and delivery of programs and activities.
