Overview

Responsibilities
Support, repair, and maintain robotic instrumentation in the field.
Install new equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.
Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures.
Regular commute to and from customer sites with the ability to navigate within the Brisbane, Australia region; follow traffic laws and ensure on-time arrival at customer sites.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A high desire for quality.
Demonstrated experience working in the field as well as in a corporate setting.
Ability to train non-technical personnel on highly technical material.
Ability and willingness to work in a safety-conscious manner due to potential hazardous chemicals and biologicals.
Ability to learn new robotic operating systems.
Must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License.
Must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check.
Must have personal, reliable transportation with valid registration and insurance that can safely transport necessary equipment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from a regionally accredited, not-for-profit university preferred.
Or
The equivalent combination of an Associates, Vocational, Technical/Trade, or equivalent degree/certificate and at least two years of technical experience working in an electronic/electrical engineering environment with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronics, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
Experience
Experience in technical field service and working with customers in the life science, clinical, or pharmaceutical field is preferred.
Experience in automation or a related field is required.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is required.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move approximately 60 lbs.
