At Avopiling, we pride ourselves on providing economical and best engineering solutions for foundation works in any type of challenging ground.In this role you will provide assistance in onboarding workers, occupational health and safety, injury management, and workers compensation.
Support HR and organizational objectives to achieve and maintain a safe workplace.Support the Project Team/s and Onboarding of Personnel:Assist in onboarding personnel using digital portals.Communicate and follow up on site issues.Maintain various registers and assist with internal and ISO audit preparation.Support RTW management, facilitate Drug & Alcohol testing paperwork, and digital payroll systems.Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.Injury Management and Workers Compensation:Assist HR Manager with claims and case management.Consult with medical professionals, insurers, and WorkCover Authorities.Assist in training management on injury management requirements.Implement improvements in injury management practices.Coordinate rehabilitation provider input.Administer WHS Training Programs:Assist with internal training programs.Assist with WHS training, including inductions.Maintain training records and monitor effectiveness.Liaise with external training organizations and plan training with operating managers.Maintain Safety, Environment & Quality Systems Awareness:Ensure compliance with OHS, Environment & Quality systems.Monitor and review work practices for quality improvements.Promote continuous improvement.Relationships and Authority:Reports to the NSW State Manager.Consults with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Site Supervisors.Assists WHS Manager with training records.Maintains presence at client sites and service providers.Advises on compliance, remedial, and preventative needs.Knowledge/Experience/Skills Required:Certificate IV qualifications in WHS is preferred.Familiarity with WHS standards (AS4801), regulations, and acts.Familiarity with WorkCover authority systems/procedures.At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction.Time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Microsoft Office suite.Communicate effectively at all levels.Persuasive, assertive, and motivational skills.
