Our global client, a major Oil and Gas Operator, are looking for a HSE Specialist for an initial 12 month contract with opportunity to extend.

Position Description:
The HSE Specialist, Environment (Asset Support) provides environmental support to the clients operating assets.
- Provide support to assets on a range of environmental matters, including regulatory requirements and environmental aspects such as air, water, waste, emissions, and discharges.
- Support asset assurance activities, including execution of Perth desktop environmental assurance activities and support for site environmental assurance activities
- Support compilation of evidence for asset reporting, particularly annual compliance reporting
- Maintain environmental management system documentation
- Develop environmental awareness and communication materials
- Support environmental risk assessment, ALARP and MOC F&O Environmental Functional Reviews, as directed by asset focal points
- Support environmental review of hazmat approval requests, as directed by asset focal points
- Provide leave cover for field based HSE teams as required
- Demonstrate a commitment to health, environment and safety and the clients' best practices

Role Requirements:

- 10 + years' experience within the Oil and Gas industry as a HSE Advisor
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related degree
- Knowledge of Environmental Legislation and Regulations
