**About the role**

Reporting to our Restaurant Manager, you will ensure excellence in food and wine service skills amongst our front-of-house team as you service our restaurant and cellar door at Saltram Wine Estate, on the outskirts of Angaston in the Barossa Valley.

This is a permanent part-time role (0.8), paid in accordance with the level 3 restaurant award. You will be required to work weekends, there will be occasional evening work for functions & events as required.
- Delivering service of food and wine to the highest possible standard.
- Coordination of the team and activities associated with restaurant and cellar door and our functions.
- Contributing to promotion plans to achieve budget, direct sales activities and innovative upselling.
- Developing and enhancing the food and beverage service skill set of the FOH team members.

**About you**

You will ideally have leadership and supervisory experience coupled with superior customer service and strong commercial acumen. The ability to show leadership among a diverse team, motivate and provide inspiration, will see you build a high-performing culture. Passionate about wine with a highly developed knowledge of a la carte dining and function management, you will ensure you achieve effective staffing, merchandising and promotion of the Saltram and Pepperjack brands. A full driver's license, RSA and RP are essential.
