**Overview**
- This role will be responsible for managing all off system calculations that come through our internal service delivery teams and our external clients including regulatory authorities.
- This role is required to consult with various Operation areas and IT stakeholders, perform complex off system calculations, be an SME on system investment related requirements, design and upgrade our current off system calculators, innovate and monitor solutions and integrations.**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Strategic Focus
- Manage strategic quality projects on behalf of Investments and Product Integrity
- Participate in problem solving and collaboration and maintain healthy group dynamics
- Actively seek process improvement opportunities
- Operational Management
- Execute off system investment calculations providing accurate member account calculations for complaint resolutions and member enquiries.
- Work directly with peer Product Integrity Analysts to ensure all investment calculation enquiries are managed in line with SLA's and each Fund investment business rules.
- Write & execute SQL queries to extract required data for calculations/analysis
- Assist, participate & investigate all calculation enquiries, escalate issues which can't be resolved to the Operational Integrity Manager and review peer calculations
- Assist in projects to review and attend investment related functional specs, fund investment related changes, new fund investment related transitions
- Assist Operational Integrity Manager with management reports as agreed
- Governance & Risk
- Ensure Off-System Calculations policy is adhered to and provide oversight on calculators as per policy
- Ensure delivery of excellent customer service to our clients, members and Trustees, by correctly calculating and checking to ensure 100% accuracy
- Ensure adherence to Risk standards and Operational Integrity assurance on a regular basis
- Ensure adherence and compliance with all legislative, financial, policy, procedural and quality requirements including OH&S issues

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Technical Specialist with above average mathematical and Excel skills and has demonstrated experience in reconstructing member account balances in accordance with Fund business rules
- Advanced knowledge in Excel
- Intermediate knowledge in SQL
- Experience in Finance, Accounting or IT
- Experience improving performance via innovative and intuitive technical solutions
- Bachelor degree in IT, Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Financial Services
- Demonstrated knowledge of Superannuation and Pension
- Superior customer service and organisational skills
- Sound business written and verbal communication skills
- ASFA qualification or equivalent very well regarded
