Our people can be proud of the increasingly important essential service we provide across the food supply chain.About the roleGrainCorp is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor, based at our Portland Site to ensure daily site operations are carried out safely to meet customer expectations.
The responsibilities of the role will include:Manage daily site operations and staffOptimise receival and shipping operations, cleaning and pest control activitiesCo-ordinate the movement of commodities through the terminalAbout your experienceCandidates will have prior management experience with an understanding of either port operations or experience in a supply chain environment.
Candidates will also display:Ability to liaise with customers and understand their requirementsAn understanding of road, rail and shippingStrong communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office programsGeneral knowledge and understanding of OH&S and Work Cover legislationExperience in operating machinery is highly beneficialIn addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.Do you share our passion for contributing to the success of a diverse, international team?
