Job Title: Software Development Technical Team Lead
A key leadership role in the Software Development department, responsible for leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
About this Role
This is an experienced
Technical Team Lead
opportunity that requires setting high standards for engineering excellence and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery from the team.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and products.
Focusing on recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team, as well as providing coaching and mentoring to team members, will be a top priority.
The individual will also be responsible for managing the non-functional backlog, including technical debt, refactoring, component upgrades, and deployment and rollback strategies for the product area.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Collaborate with lead developers to evaluate and improve system architecture.
Evaluate and implement best practices in software development and architectural principles.
Manage the creation and review of design tasks for user stories.
Oversee the non-functional backlog, including technical debt and refactoring.
People Leadership
Recruit and develop a high-performing team.
Ensure development plans are in place for all team members.
Take ownership of staffing decisions and overall team member performance.
Requirements
Familiarity and hands-on experience leading agile development teams.
Expertise in the C#/.NET technology stack.
Strong people management skills.
Excellent communication abilities.
