**About the Opportunities**:
Applications are invited for** Full-Time and Part-Time** Evening** Laboratory Assistants **within the Microbiology Department at the **Bowen Hills **Laboratory Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology.

Prior laboratory experience particularly in a microbiology laboratory or in microbiology laboratory techniques will be advantageous.

Shifts are 6:00 pm to 1:30 am Monday to Friday A minimum of two shifts per week are required.

Weekend day or night rostering and participation in a public holiday roster may be required when appropriately trained.

The successful applicant will also ideally have:

- Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work methodically and efficiently whilst adhering to occupational health and safety policies
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively and provide excellence in customer service
- Previous laboratory experience highly regarded but not essential
