Overview
Join our team at Northgate working with reinforcing steel mesh, bar and associated products, and get involved in a variety of stores and production tasks to keep our busy operation running to capacity.
Responsibilities
Operate production machinery and equipment with precision and care
Cut and bend reinforcing steel
Bundle and load reinforcing steel onto trucks
Weld reinforcing steel structures together (training provided)
Support a team to meet targets and keep things running smoothly
Qualifications
Experience in a production environment using machinery
Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
Physical fitness, reliability and a can-do attitude
Forklift licence and welding experience (an advantage)
Experience in metal production or reinforcing steel (desirable but not essential)
