At the heart of every great production lies a skilled operative who can bring machinery to life. This is where our Virginia facility seeks a day shift machine operator to join its ranks.
About the RoleThis opportunity is geared towards individuals with experience in fast-paced food manufacturing environments, particularly those involving biscuit production lines. The ideal candidate will be adept at operating machines that perform mixing, forming, baking, and packaging processes.
We are looking for someone who thrives on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems. If you possess a strong mechanical aptitude and have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot machines and solve product quality attributes, then this role may be suited for you.
Key Responsibilities- Work autonomously or as part of a team to meet daily production requirements.
- Set up, changeovers, operate, and troubleshoot equipment according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness within process areas to ensure compliance with GMP and HACCP regulations.
- Prior automated machine operating experience in a food manufacturing setting is highly regarded, though not essential.
- Able to complete medical and mechanical aptitude testing upon request.
