Randstad are looking for Assistant Program Officers to join a team with the NSW Government, based in Orange.
Location: Orange, NSWDuration: 12 weeks, with a possibility for extensionHours: 35 hours per weekPay Rate: $54 per hour
As an Assistant Program Officer, you'll play a key role in reviewing and assessing complex financial assistance applications and claims. You'll be responsible for making recommendations ensuring every decision complies with the guidelines and policies.
Your Daily Tasks Will Include
Reviewing and assessing financial assistance applications and claims.Providing clear, professional advice and support to applicants and stakeholders.Effectively managing and resolving enquiries, including complaints from distressed or irate clients.Ensuring compliance with program guidelines and meeting service timeframes.
What You'll Bring
We're seeking a resilient and customer-focused professional with the following skills and experience:
A financial understanding and competent user of Excel.Customer service experience in handling sensitive and complex enquiries, including complaints.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.Empathy and professionalism when supporting distressed customers.
