Exact Contracting is looking for an experienced
**Transport Manager** to join our team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Transport Manager is responsible for the safe and effective management of transport activities and operations, including fleet of 150+ prime movers and trailers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the Transport Team including managing scheduling and programming of transport activities;
- Ensure maximum fleet productivity and efficiency is achieved;
- Effectively managing the daily work activity of drivers;
- Maintenance planning of fleet with key workshop personnel;
- Understand and meet all legislative and regulatory requirements

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the transport and logistics industry advantageous;
- Strong planning and organisation skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Good Computer skills with intermediate excel;
- May be required to travel to remote civil/ mine sites.
