Why this role matters

We are seeking a proactive and values-driven Truck off-sider to provide support to the truck driver in providing adequate pickup and delivery service for the Family Store in line with TSA mission and values.

This is a casual position, based at The Family Cairns Store.

The role you could play
- Coordinate the pickup and delivery of all donated goods
- Operate the vehicle in a safe and effective manner
- Effectively manage volunteers
- Meet Occupational Health and Safety obligations in line with TSA Policy & Procedures & relevant legislation

What you will bring
- Previous experience in mentoring/training and managing staff or ability to demonstrate capability to undertake
- Demonstrated experience in driving and/or operating commercial vehicles
- Experience in the recycling/transport industry is desirable
- Sound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written)
- A willingness to undergo a National criminal history check
- Current Driver's license
