Social Worker Grade 2

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Social Worker within the Epworth Rehabilitation team

In this fixed term parental leave cover (19 hrs per week) role, you will provide Social Work assessment and intervention of clients with a range of cognitive, behavioural and emotional issues, primarily the result of an acquired brain injury. Your case-mix will be diverse and require you to work closely with professionals from other disciplines.

Provided with a laptop and phone, you will have the ability to work remotely, with flexible start and finish locations as well as from our office in Richmond. Our team are only required to attend on site once per week/fortnight.

- Being able to interact and collaborate with all members of a multidisciplinary team

**To be successful in this role you**:

- Are a skilled and personable Social Worker, looking to complement a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Possess experience working with clients that have neurological and mental health conditions
- Are proficient in assessment, management, and discharge planning of rehabilitation patients
- Demonstrate accountability with a strong, supportive and engaging communication style
- Possess effective written and oral communication skills
- Preferably have experience working in a rehabilitation setting

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Masters of Social Work
- Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
