Our client is currently seeking a IT Related Risk & Disaster Recovery Manager to join a dynamic organisation that is growing. This is a permanent role, flexible to be based either perth or Melbourne for the right person.

The Risk & Disaster Recovery Manager provides strategic and operational advice, guidance and support to the business on Information Technology risk management, internal audit, emergency management, disaster recovery and business continuity activities.

**_Please note this is an IT based Risk and DR Management role._**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement and continuously improve critical business frameworks
- Provide advice to senior management on emerging, enterprise and other risks
- Undertake risk assessments for the whole of business in accordance with the framework
- Develop and undertake statistical, dashboard, Executive and Board reporting across a variety of functions, forums and committees in a timely and articulate manner
- Develop and validate emergency and continuity plans; assist with the planning and execution of exercises and assist with management of incidents

**Experience Required**
As a key part of our clients' risk and disaster recovery processes, ideally you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in risk management, internal audit and/or emergency management/business continuity
- Demonstrated experience in risk, audit or emergency/continuity management in medium to large organisations, with the proven ability to be able to quickly adapt to functions where there is lesser experience
- Experience in the timely and professional provision of advice, guidance and support to the business on all functional activities
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking risk assessments, workshops, reporting and both technical and non-technical discussions
- Proven experience in the development of frameworks and processes
- Working knowledge of risk management methodologies including risk identification and assessment, control testing and reporting (in accordance with the Standard)
