**About the opportunity**

If you have a management background in casual dining, pubs, bars, or fast food chains, and you'd prefer to work in one of Melbourne's most talked about inner city restaurants then this will be a gig you'll truly enjoy getting out of bed for.

Our client is one of Melbourne's most successful independent restaurant groups, achieving an iconic status in recent years for it's consistently smooth family-style service, cocktails, and sharing plates.

The role of Assistant Venue Manager will require you to run service in the absence of the General Manager including troubleshooting service issues, trialing front of house staff, and holding key holder duties.

Working under a gun General Manager you'll have the opportunity to learn the ropes about how to run a large scale venue whilst developing your commercial skill set.

The group have been incredibly successful at transitioning leaders from cafes, food retail, quick service restaurants, and pubs, to their casual dining concept
