Since opening in late July, the clinic has quickly gained momentum and we're now looking for a motivated Exercise Scientist to join our fast-paced, dynamic team.ResponsibilitiesOur Exercise Scientists are dedicated to guiding and supporting clients on the training floor, helping them achieve lasting health outcomes through evidence-based strength training.
By combining traditional exercise science methods with education on the benefits of strength training, our team empowers clients to restore strength and confidence, enabling them to continue enjoying the things they love most.
Responsibilities include:Actively engage on the training floor by conducting 1:1 and group sessions, strength assessments, and movement analysis with clientsApply scientific concepts (biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, motor control) and evidence-based practices to support clientsProvide evidence-based advice on health, fitness, well-being, and physical performanceDevelop and implement exercise prescriptions and plans for clientsEstablish, assess, and reassess goals for new and long-term clientsGuide athletes or clients with fitness goals to achieve peak performance and recover from injuryComplete a range of administrative dutiesConsistently deliver high-quality service in accordance with Kieser standardsIf you are a newly graduated or experienced Exercise Scientist, with a passion for client outcomes and a belief in strength training for long-term prevention, we want to hear from you.RequiredQualifications & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science or a related fieldValid working rights in AustraliaFirst Aid & CPR CertificationWorking with Children CheckNational Police CheckDesirable1+ years relevant work experiencePrevious private practice experiencePrevious experience with long term management of client outcomes in a strength training environmentAdditional BenefitsComplimentary access to our strength and conditioning facility + concessional fees for family membersComprehensive induction and ongoing professional developmentCareer pathways within KieserWellbeing Program1 day of Recharge Leave and a half day of Birthday LeaveAn unbeatable team culture, fun working environment and social events12 weeks paid parental leave for primary carersUp to $1500 annual PD allowanceLeadership Program for aspiring leadersDiversity & InclusionWe value inclusion and diversity and are committed to creating a safe, confident, and celebratory work environment.
