**Position Overview**:
We are looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as Butcher Counter Hands. In this customer-facing role, you'll assist with preparing, presenting, and selling meat products, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and providing excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Weigh, wrap, and label meat products accurately
- Display meat and smallgoods attractively in cabinets and displays
- Keep the counter area clean, hygienic, and well-stocked
- Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety standards
- Assist with basic meat preparation tasks (e.g., slicing, portioning)
- Operate scales, slicers, wrapping machines, and cash registers as needed
- Communicate with butchers and team members to fulfill customer orders
- Handle customer inquiries and special requests
- Maintain knowledge of products and daily specials

Previous experience in a butcher shop, deli, or food retail environment (preferred but not essential - training can be provided)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.07 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
