**Position: Butcher Assistant / Counter Hand / Food Prep Assistant**

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the butcher in cutting, trimming, and preparing various meats
- Handle customer orders, providing friendly, efficient service at the counter
- Package and label meat products, ensuring accuracy and cleanliness
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety standards
- Help with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Support food prep duties, including marinating, seasoning, and portioning
- Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards
- Assist with general store operations as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in food handling, customer service, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
