Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Australia's clean energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Advising on energy law, including compliance with the National Electricity Rules and relevant regulatory frameworks;
Drafting and negotiating key commercial agreements, including EPC, O&M, PPA, and project financing contracts;
Supporting project development, acquisitions, and joint ventures across solar, battery, and hybrid energy projects;
Requirements:
7+ years PQE with expertise in electricity, energy projects, and renewables;
Coming out of private practice and/or INHExperienced in drafting and negotiating project, infrastructure, or energy contracts;
Commercially astute with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives;
Confident working autonomously while also collaborating closely with internal stakeholders;
