**About the role**
Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members' world better. As an **Internal Auditor**, you are responsible for assisting the Internal Audit Managers in providing independent assurance to key stakeholders on the effectiveness of risk management and governance practices across the Group.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of internal audits from planning to reporting and follow up actions
- Proactive workflow management, to ensue audit tasks are scheduled and completed to timeframes
- Draft concise and well-written audit reports which provide value to all stakeholders
- Assist with monitoring and actively following-up on the implementation of recommendations made by internal audit to ensure improvements are made to controls, processes, and systems
**About you**
You are an excellent communicator with great stakeholder management skills and experience in a large organisation. Furthermore, your skills and qualification may include the following:
- Demonstrated ability to research and analyse problems
- Ability to identify noncompliance with processes and gap analysis
- Previous experience in the financial services industry (desirable) including superannuation, life insurance, financial planning and/or funds management
- Ability to pragmatically utilise expert technical knowledge to deliver commercially orientated outcomes
