We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our facilities team as a Maintenance Handyman.
This is a full-time role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring every aspect of luxury properties is running smoothly and looking its best.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site inspections and address minor maintenance issues promptly
Perform general repairs including plastering, painting, and upkeep of fixtures and appliances
Assist with basic landscaping and outdoor presentation tasks
Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with site safety protocols
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete works to the highest standards
Support emergency maintenance efforts, including occasional after-hours call-outs
Utilize property management software for task logging and reporting purposes
Requirements:
3+ years' experience in a maintenance, handyman, or facilities role with a proven track record
Confident in carrying out light repairs and basic property upkeep with minimal supervision
Practical knowledge of tools, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices
Professional presentation with exceptional customer service skills
Strong initiative, reliability, and ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Landscaping and gardening experience highly regarded
Experience using software like MyBos is a significant advantage
Relevant trade qualification or Cert III in Landscape Construction (preferred but not essential)
