**Operating Theatre Equipment Officer**

The Royal Melbourne Hospital Perioperative Services is a brilliant team committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure excellent surgical outcomes for our patients and their families.

**Your new role**:

- Our Operating Theatre Equipment Officer are a highly skilled and very well-respected team who are essential to providing quality outcomes to patient care in our operating theatres.
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team that is dedicated to providing great service to patients who come into contact with Melbourne Health.

**About you**:

- You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
- You have attention to detail, communication and strong prioritising skills.
- You have a preferred 18 months clinical / hospital experience.
- Training / Certificate in medical technology or technical background
- You can demonstrate experience in problem solving
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Reporting to the Perioperative Biomedical Engineer and Support Services Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides equipment support to Perioperative Services across all Surgical Specialties, including but not limited to, medical device asset management, coordinating corrective and preventative repairs with Clinical Engineering Department and external suppliers, basic troubleshooting of AV and computer systems, basic calibration of medical devices and other administration tasks.
